How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

Prompt Response: Imagination it very helpful when I cope with boredom or even stressed. When I use my imagination I am able to imagine peaceful things such as traveling and seeing amazing sights in order to combat my stress. This is especially helpful as when I am stressed it is most likely about how my future is affected and what will happen. When I am bored it helps to tap in to my creativity and make something involving an art in order to keep myself entertained.

Summary: During the class period today we finished our writable questions based on Robert Frost poem "Out Out". We then moved on to the next poem and as a class we read along with annotated "Climbing Back to Childhood". Once we were done going over the story when then started working on the new power point assignment.

Reflection: After reading the story I reflected on the two themes and how they are applied to my own life and how I feel about my fleeting childhood. The story made me think about how I am only a few years away from what is considered adulthood and that I should really take everything in as the author expresses his desire to go back. While working on the new power point presentation I had to reflect on these thoughts as it is centered around my own childhood.

People often react with disbelief when they hear about real-life stories that seem just as unbelievable. Write about the most shocking or “craziest” news story you have ever heard. What happened, and why did it stand out to you? How did people react to it, and what does it reveal about human behavior?

Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.
