Write about the best gift you have received.

Prompt Response: The best gift I have ever received was a specialized hand made card from my friend. This present is very dear to me as the words that she wrote inside were very sincere as it made me cry. The card also was very funny as the on the front It had my favorite character on it as a meme wrapped in a pink bow. The inside had a college of one of my favorite album covers which was very cute.

Summary: Today in class we completed our vocab quiz on illuminate. After that we discussed the differences between informal and formal sentences. As a class we took notes as well as looked at examples. We then each got assigned a prompt for our arguments that we will be writing in writeable. We only wrote the first part which was the claim stating whether we agreed or not and why.

Reflection: In class I reflected on the vocab words and carefully selected them for the quiz. In class I took notes on the informal and formal writing. I later selected my prompt and states that I personally agreed to it as the reason was because texting makes the words sent out less impactful than compared to saying it face to face.

Thinking about “The Rockpile,” which parent or guardian in your life has been the strictest when it comes to discipline? Explain how their approach to discipline has influenced you or shaped your behavior.

People often react with disbelief when they hear about real-life stories that seem just as unbelievable. Write about the most shocking or “craziest” news story you have ever heard. What happened, and why did it stand out to you? How did people react to it, and what does it reveal about human behavior?

Miss Emily’s house once represented pride and tradition, but over time it became a symbol of decay and isolation. Describe a place that holds deep memories for you—positive or negative—and explain how it reflects part of who you are or how you’ve changed over time.
