Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.

Prompt Response: One vocab word that resonated with me was convoluted. This word resonated with me the best since it means difficult to discern. Through out my life there has been many things that I can trouble discerning especially in friendships linking the word to me. It can also represent how I also see the good in people and not see the error in people. The word overall best resonates with myself personally.

Summary: During the class time we worked on vocab. We wrote the new vocab into our notes. After that we wrote a original sentence for each one. We also completed exercise 3 and 4.

Reflection: The words seem interesting. A handful of the words I knew or either recognized. These words include livid, anecdote, and gibberish. The words will be used more in my daily vocab.

People often react with disbelief when they hear about real-life stories that seem just as unbelievable. Write about the most shocking or “craziest” news story you have ever heard. What happened, and why did it stand out to you? How did people react to it, and what does it reveal about human behavior?

Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.
