: Your research question is designed to explore a complex issue. What makes this topic difficult to answer or solve? Identify at least two different perspectives or factors related to your topic and explain why understanding multiple viewpoints is important.

Prompt Response: My assigned topic was plastic surgery which is difficult to answer since it can be used for different reasons and can be accessed in various ways. This makes it difficult to focus on a single issue with this topic besides from the influence of social media. One viewpoint of plastic surgery is that it can be used to medically treat patients who need it. Another view point is for cosmetic plastic surgery to satisfy a patient on their looks. Many may see this as a good thing to do as it is what the person desires which can lead them to be self confident, while others may see this as detrimental. Understanding multiple view points is important as it can lead to making more solutions and creating a more diverse viewpoint.

Summary: During the class period we dicussed our topic more with our assigned groups. After that as a class we went through the steps of finding and searching for a credible source on Galileo. As a group we searched different things that could be beneficial for us later during our researching and saved the sources through links.

Reflection: The question that we picked is centered around social media and its relationship with young people getting plastic surgery. I think that the question is interesting and that my group can really expand on the topic. While searching for sources, I saw a variety of articles on plastic surgery and teens.
