Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?
Prompt Response: I moment when I stopped to appreciate nature was when I was walking to the bus in the morning. As I was walking it was very bright outside as the sun was coming up and I took a moment to watch the sun and its rays. I noticed the birds flying around in the sky which was something to take in.It made me change my perspective to take things slowly as I was previously stressed only focused on school. Summary: During class we went and annotated another poem written by Robert Frost. After that we each had our own assigned poem to base our one pager on. The rest of the class time we worked on our one pagers making it unique to our poem. Reflection: I reflected on how to present my poem in the one pager and how to be creative with it as I saw the other various examples.
